Eddie William Phelps

Mr. Phelps retired from the City of Mobile Animal Shelter after 37 years of service and was a talented musician for 33 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Phelps. Mr. Phelps is survived by three children, Robert Edward Phelps, Richard Douglas (Veronica) Phelps, and Deborah (Daniel) Johnson; two sisters, Carol Champion and Shirley Brigmon; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at10 A.M. on Monday, March 5, 2012 from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9 A.M. until 10 A.M. on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
