Edgar Ivan Harrison

Edgar Ivan Harrison – A native of Youngstown, OH and resident of Mobile, AL for over sixty years passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at home. He retired from the US Postal Service. Mr. Harrison was a US Air Force veteran who served his country during WWII. He served as a Merchant Marine for ten years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie E. Harrison. Survivors include three daughters, Trina Harrison Nicholas, Mobile, AL, Jimmie Abernathy, St. Augustine, FL and Billie Jones, Montgomery, AL; three nieces, Grace Rose, Painesville, OH, Dawn Giammo, Albuquerque, NM and Judy Alves, Lyndhurst, OH; one brother, Norman Harrison, Erlanger, KY; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 27, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 noon until service. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
