Edna Earle Creighton Thomas – Born January 3, 1929 in Mobile, AL, died Monday, June 13, 2011. She was a member of Moffett Road Baptist Church for 47 years where she remained faithful until her death. She was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Thomas; mother, Gladys Creighton; father, Thomas Price Creighton; brothers, Thomas Shelton Creighton, Sr. and Leon Slay. Survivors include her son, Price Thomas (Cheryl); daughter, Marchelle Holland; sister, Bernice Freeman; grandchildren, Amy and Sydney Thomas, Angel and Luke Holland; a niece, nephews, many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 16, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. from Moffett Road Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 12:30 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be in Semmes First Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Moffett Road Baptist Church, 5555 Moffett Rd., Mobile, AL 36618.
