Edward Joseph Kahalley, Sr. – a 91 year-old resident of Mobile passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Abdullah Mansour Kahalley and Zakia Zoghby Kahalley; beloved wife of 56 years, Alma Louise "Jake" Wimberley Kahalley; grandson, Justin Watson; and 7 siblings. Mr. Kahalley is survived by his children, Kathryn Cariglino (Al), Edward J. Kahalley, Jr., Janice Gottesfeld (Gary), Karol Kahalley (Con Wilson), and Kristopher A. Kahalley; grandchildren, Dee Cariglino, Amanda Cariglino, Allison Kahalley, Max Gottesfeld (Vanessa), Ian Gottesfeld, Ana Harley (Walter), Lydia Gottesfeld (Jacob Eden), Alexandria Kahalley, Lowell Wilson, Elizabeth Kahalley, Kriistopher A. Kahalley Stephanie), and Chad Watson; great-grandchildren, Emory Bedgood, Kristopher Landen Kahalley, Azlyn Kahalley, and Alanis Watson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Monday, February 29, 2016, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at Radney Funeral Home on Sunday, February 28, from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be in Catholic Cemetery.
