Edwin “Flip Flop” Porter, born July 17, 1957 in Mobile, AL, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018. He drove a truck for Mobile Asphalt for over 20 years. He leaves a loving wife of 31 years, Sherry, and their 2 furry babies, Harley and Buddy; one brother, Terry West (Tina); two sisters, Marsha Wentworth and Betty Williams (Pajoe); aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; great and great-great nieces and nephews; and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Edward Porter and Jewell Porter; as well as one brother, Richard Porter. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, with a funeral service in the chapel at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 14, 2018. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
