Eleanor Taylor Robbins – an 81 year-old resident of Mobile passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011. She was a graduate of Citronelle High School and retired from Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Company after many years of service. Mrs. Robbins is survived by her husband of 27 years, James C. Robbins; her children: Janet E. Sollie, Jesse S. Jackson, and Donald A. Jackson; step-children: Judy Lynn Miller, Martha Pittman, Steve Robbins, and Scott Robbins; sister, Marietta J. Taylor; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be held from Gulfcrest Baptist Church in on Saturday, July 16, 2011, at 10a.m. The family will receive friends at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Friday, July 15, 2011, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Gulfcrest Cemetery.
