Elizabeth Carter Davis, age 90, died on January 8, 2017, in Mobile, AL. She is preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Etta Mae Carter; sisters, Catherine Carter, Etta Lee Sciple, Margaret Toenes, Mary West, Bernadette McAleer; husband, Hollis Davis; and daughters, Jan Shannon and Cathy Johnson. She is survived by sisters, Dorothy Dolan, Eleanor O’Brien, Norma Hurley; and brother, Robert Carter. She is also survived by daughters Beth (Tony) Kalifeh, Connie Hufft, Angela (Webb) Olmstead, Patricia Davis; son, Hollis Davis; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
A private family graveside was held at Pine Crest Cemetery and officiated by Father Spottswood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor. A memorial mass will be held at a later date.
