I know he would want us all to remember him well and Happy. I always will remember his kindness and his picking, joking around ways. Trying to figure out when he told you something if he was picking or not. Ha!! You knew he was picking when he couldn't hold back the smile and started to laugh. Ha! I will always Will remember his Laugh and Smile. I wished I'd lived closer to spend more time together just to enjoy his and his wife Betty Carloyn Herndon Love's company. Always enjoyed this Family. I remember his Love For Rock's. He Was A Collector once for odd shaped and different rocks. If The Rock was too Big he took pictures of it. Once on his visit to see us I remember The Kids had to go to school and their Dad had to work so Elton and I went on a trip here where I live in Eastern Tennessee In The Great Smoky Mountains. We went site seeing and looking for Rocks In The Mountains Of Tennessee. We went around the Mountain Streams and The National Park. I'd Drive Him Around And He'd say "Stop" I See A Rock!! If you know the area here there are rocks every inch along the way. Sometimes no place to pull the car over. I laughed and stopped a hundred times that day. He seen one rock shaped like a bed mattress he said and would like to get it. Haha!! Yes it did look like one. I told him when we went into the National Park we couldn't pick up anything and take with us that it was against the law. That was a hard thing for him when he seen odd looking rocks he liked. Ha! We stopped and got lunch meat and bread etc at a store along the way and stopped and ate. It brought back memories of when My Dad and I went on trips and also when I was a child. We never went through fast food or take away food places when I was a kid. When Elton Came That Time To Visit IT Hadn't Been Long That My Dad Passed Away. He knew I was Sad and having a hard time then. It really helped me by him coming up and him and I going on that trip. Happy Memory❤
