

Mr. Elvin “Mr. Al” Arnold – age 88, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2011 in Mobile. “Mr. Al” was born in West Virginia and was raised in Colorado. He was a longtime resident of Mobile, AL, a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in World War II and the Korean War. “Mr. Al” was a member of the American Legion Post #76. He was the owner of Mr. Al’s Party Palace and Mr. Al’s Travels. He was preceded in death by his parents, Presley and Gussie Arnold; two brothers, Roy and Ellis; and one sister, Helen Neville. “Mr. Al” is survived by his wife, Frankie Jaquita Arnold, they were together for 42 years; his son, Steven Edward Arnold (Robin); two grandsons, Steven Elvin Arnold and Spencer Edward Arnold; as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Strong River Baptist Church, Pinola, MS. “Mr. Al” will lie in state at the church from 1 P.M. until 2 P.M. on Thursday. Interment will be in Strong River Baptist Church Cemetery, Pinola, MS.
