Born July 7, 1977, in Minot, ND, to Cheryl Summers and Thomas L Gries.
Eric was affectionately known as “Ike” by close family and old family friends. He enjoyed watching sports, especially UT Football, camping and cooking. Ike loved music and loved to laugh. He had a great sense of humor. Eric dearly loved his family and animals of all kinds, but especially his loyal dog and friend, Zamirah.
He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas; grandparents: Roy and Kathryn (Loftus) Gries and Carl and Vera (King) Summers. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Cheryl and step-father Richard Creech, sisters: Kelly (Mike) Peacock and Lindsay (Kevin) Young, niece: Ilah Young, nephew: Michael Peacock, many aunts and uncles, numerous cousins and a very large extended family.
A memorial service will be held in the near future.
