Celebration of Life services for Mrs. Eunice Pearl Morris Smith, 87, will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 28, 2018, in the Chapel of Pine Crest Funeral Home, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, Alabama, 36605.
Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Pine Crest West Cemetery, 1599 Snow Road, Mobile, Alabama, 36695.
The family will be receiving guests for visitation Wednesday, November 28, 2018, from 1:00 PM until time of service at 2:00 PM.
Eunice was born February 24, 1931, in Foley, Alabama, and was called to her Heavenly home November 28, 2018, in Atmore, Alabama, following a courageous battle of Alzheimer. She was a member of Crawford Baptist Church, 300 Sun Valley Drive, Mobile, Alabama, 36618, for over thirty years. Eunice loved to create ceramics and would take great pride in cooking for her family in friends. She was in the furniture business for over thirty-five years retired and became a homemaker. Eunice will be remembered for the loving caregiver she was.
Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, a brother; Burl Morris, Jr., and her beloved husband of 71 years; Harvey C. Smith.
Left to cherish the beautiful memory of Eunice will be her daughter; Rebecca Dunn and husband Melvin Edly, two grandsons: Melvin Dunn and wife Kathy, Jeff Dunn and wife Shelley; five great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law: Esterine Smith and Shirley Morris; along with many extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
Honoring Eunice as pallbearers will be Harry Malone, Blue Miller, Kenny Stewart, Jeff Dunn, Zack Dunn and Melvin Dunn.
