

Evis Joseph “Jay” Thibodeaux, III – a native and resident of Mobile passed away Monday, September 6, 2010. Jay attended Corpus Christi Catholic School, Davidson High School and the Florida Institute of Technology. He was a Power Generation Engineer with General Electric Co. for many years. Jay was a great friend to those who knew him. His passions included riding, building, and restoring old motorcycles. He was known well for his knowledge and know-how. No one could machine a part to repair a bike like he could. Jay was preceded in death by his father, Evis Joseph Thibodeaux, Jr. He was a loving and devoted father of three surviving children, Leah, Megan, and Cody. He is also survived by his mother, Mildred Thibodeaux; sister, Patti Miller; brother, Chris Thibodeaux; and a cherished and devoted friend, Kimberly Johnson. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Friday, September 10, 2010, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the service hour.
