Flora Mae Garcia

Mrs. Flora Mae Garcia, age 93, of Purvis, Mississippi, received her ultimate healing and went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, January 23, 2026. Born December 30, 1932, in Mobile, Alabama.

Mrs. Garcia was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great and great great grandmother, sister and friend. She was an independent lady who loved to sew, color and cook for her family and friends. She read her bible daily. She enjoyed attending church and spending time with her family and friends

Mrs. Garcia was preceded in death by her children, James Mathis, Lynn Casbeer, Ida Mae Mathis and Royce Mathis; her parents, William Thomas Lee and Ninnie Waltman Lee; siblings, R.T. Lee, Augury Lee, Elijah Lee, Jessie Lee, Aaron Lee, Brady Lee, Robert Lee, Cora Falcon, Viola Serigne, Lillie Mae Watts, Beatrice Welborn, and Dotsie Robbis.

She is survived by her loving and devoted children, Sarah Borman, Mary Virginia Mathis, Shirley Mathis, Kathy Mathis, Tommy Garcia (Kim), David Garcia, Melinda Massey, Elaine Wallace (Brad); her brother, William Lee; 24 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on January 28, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Radney Funeral Home, located at 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36606.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 am at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Allentown Cemetery, Semmes, Alabama.
