Florence Ann Sheffield, age 81, of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. Florence was born May 30, 1938 in Mobile, AL. She was a resident of Picayune, MS for over thirty years until she moved to Fairhope in 2002. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church.
She was preceded in death by his parents, Baker Mote and Helen Adelaide Pennell Gentry. Survivors include her loving husband, Thomas Sheffield; sons, Baker Lee Dunaway of Mobile, AL., John Howard Dunaway of Gulf Breeze, FL., Frank Hunter (Lisa) Dunaway of Fairhope, AL., and Michael T (Deana) Sheffield of Picayune, MS; brother, John (Sondra) Baker Gentry; along with seven grandchildren and 9 great great-grandchildren
A visitation for Florence will be held Saturday, May 30, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Pine Crest Funeral Home, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, AL 36605. A graveside service will follow at 11:00am in Pine Crest Cemetery.
