She is survived by and will be deeply missed by her children, Ashlee Ward, Alison Akridge (Robert), Alan Rester, Jr., Aimee Rester; her grandchildren, Cynthia Rester, Shannon Rester, Catherine Ward, Herndon Akridge, Emory Akridge, Collin Ward, Grayson Akridge; her brother, William Beard and many other nieces, nephews and family members.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church located at 1050 Azalea Rd, Mobile, AL. 36693. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour. Interment will be at Pine Crest Cemetery.
