

Frances Marie Siebert - born October 28, 1946 in Tampa, FL and a resident of Mobile, passed away Tuesday, April 19th. She was 64 years old. She was a 1964 graduate of Milton (FL) High School and took college courses at Pensacola Junior College. She worked for the Army Corps of Engineers before embarking on a lengthy career as a Legal Secretary. After marrying Carl Siebert in June of 1981, she moved to Mobile and began working for Attorney Vivian Johnston of the Hand, Arendall Law Firm. After almost 30 years together, their relationship grew into the rarest of special friendships, one that far surpassed their working association. Her passions were her family, friends and a love for animals. Her hobbies included racquetball, painting, cross-stitching and crossword puzzles. She also volunteered in the Gift Shop at Springhill Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Gladys Wright Sr. of Milton, FL, and her brother, Charles Wright Jr. of Santa Monica, CA. She is survived by her husband, Carl Siebert of Mobile; two sons, James (Dede) Clay of Savannah, GA and Richard Siebert of Auburn, AL; a sister, Diane Hardee of Baton Rouge, LA; two grandchildren, Stephen Russell and Chelsey Russell of Savannah, GA; and several nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 23rd, from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral home on Dauphin Street.
