Mr. Francis Joseph "Joe" Hartley, Jr. - a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL died Monday, March 11, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Hartley was a 1962 graduate of McGill Institute and retired from Ciba Geigy after 25 years of service and presently, co-owner of Murray Bonding. He was a member of the American Legion Post #88 and was an avid boater and fisherman. He is survived by three children, Joseph Paul Hartley, Cheree Hartley (Shawn) Bosarge, and Lesley Suzanne (Casey) Hartley-Dean; his mother, Rita Vautier Hartley; two sisters, Carol Hartley (Mark) Weido and Deborah Hartley (Garin) Danner; two grandchildren, Tripp Lott and Brody Bosarge; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 A.M. on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at St. Matthew Catholic Church.
