

Celebrations of Life will be held in Mobile, Alabama and Lafayette, Louisiana at later dates.
Frank was born in Abbeville, Louisiana on April 22, 1958. He was a graduate of Lafayette High School – class of 1976. Frank received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He was an Army Veteran and served as Platoon Leader, called to active duty for Desert Storm, National Guard 256th Infantry Brigade (Mechanized). Frank was a member of State and National Chapters of The American Planning Association, The Association of State Flood plan Managers, and the Kappa Alpha Order (KA) Fraternity. Frank worked at The City of Lafayette as a Zoning Inspector and Planner 1 before relocating to Mobile, Alabama in 1996. Where he began working at the City of Mobile. In August 2024, after 28 years, Frank retired as Deputy Director of the Permitting Department at the City of Mobile.
Frank is preceded in death by his father, Francis C. Palombo, Sr. and his mother, Mary Helen Vice both of Abbeville, Louisiana.
His is survived by his wife, Aleesha S. Palombo, Daughter, Sabra Smith of New Roads, Louisiana, Daughter, Ary Moore (Nick) of Carthage, North Carolina, Grandchildren: Natalie Moore, Hayley Moore, Aubrey Moore, Woody Moore, Son, Trey Palombo of Semmes, Alabama, Brother, Tony Palombo (Karen) of Cedar Park, Texas, Nieces: Kaylee Palombo, Ashley Palombo of Cedar Park, Texas; Sister- in- law, Sonya S Smith of Los Angeles, California.
A Hobby Farm filled with two legged and four- legged furry friends … Dogs, Cats and Silkie Chickens.
Frank was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, neighbor and friend.
He never met a stranger, was loved and admired by many.
He enjoyed riding his Harley and as he would say….
