Frank Jones passed away on May 22, 2018. He was a very loving husband and father. His unconditional love was shown to everyone. He unselfishly took care of the love of his life Ann Jones for the last several years. He and Ann were married for 61 years.
Frank was born on October 3, 1932 in Jemison, AL. He was in the Air Force and was in the last graduating class of Howard College , receiving a degree in business. He worked for Liberty National Life Insurance for 35 years.
He served the Lord his entire life as a deacon, Sunday school teacher and greeter.
Frank never met a stranger and enjoyed being around people. He enjoyed telling jokes, fishing and traveling.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lela Jones and a brother, Charles (Frances) Jones, Jr.
He is survived by wife of 61 years Ann Jones; children, Sarita (Steve) Ladner, Tammy (Terry) Liles and Chris Jones. Grandchildren, Brian (April) Ladner, Laura Ladner and Brandon Liles; great grandchildren, Bo, Jake and Gus, also survived by nieces, a nephew and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home, Mobile, AL.
Funeral Services will be held in the chapel of Pine Crest Funeral Home on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 10:30 a.m.
Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
