Garland Aline Sweatt

Mrs. Garland Aline Sweatt native of Mobile, Al and longtime resident of Theodore, Al, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 29, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert L. and Erna Mae Lambeth Sturtevant, daughter, Janet Marie Hickman, siblings, Mary Tomberlin, Grace Deakle, Ruth Strocker, Albert Sturtevant, Jr., grandsons, Chase Allen Sweatt, Gregory Blake Hickman and son-in-law Calvin Ratcliff.

Mrs. Sweatt attended the Irvington Fellowship Bible Church. She loved gardening, time with family and her precious cats.

She is survived by her son, Earl K. Sweatt, Jr. of Theodore, Al, daughters, Deborah Ratcliff, Madonna Allen and sons, Mark Allen Sweatt and Danny McLendon. Granddaughter, Latisha Marie Buxton (Jason), Angela Franklin and Sara Allen: Grandson, Gregory Blake Hickman and eight great-grandchildren, Dillon Hickman, Jaydan Toole, Sierra Staton, Lexie Buxton, Trista Long, Kyle Long, Cynthia Long, Josh McLendon.

Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home-Mobile on Friday, November 4, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Oakleigh Chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
