George Thomas Butler "Beloved Husband and Father"

Mr. Butler is survived by his wife of 20 years, Marsha Parham Butler, daughters Tami Butler Smith (Kent), Kerry Butler-Cooley (Wendell), Ashley Butler Lanning (Roger), Julie Dobbs Fulton (Wallace), five grandchildren, Alex and Aaron Lanning, Thomas Cooley, and Chip and Holly Fulton, one sister Rebecca Moore; two brothers Bill Butler (Camilla) and Harry Butler (Sandra).

He was preceded in death by his parents William R. and Julia Butler and brother Rupert Rigby. Mr. Butler was a 1963 graduate of Vigor High School and attended the University of Mobile. Mr. Butler was a veteran of the United States Army in the Airborne Unit and served in View Nam.

Funeral services will be held at the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday February 12, 2014 at 2 PM. Visitation will start at 1 PM. Burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
