She was born to James S. and Claire E. Elder on November 17, 1953, in Mobile, Alabama. Georgia loved plants – loved to watch things grow. She was a world traveler and visited a multitude of countries. Georgia was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and loved her family with all her heart. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Susan Elder and Penelope Elder.
Georgia is survived by her husband of 45 years, Gavin Grove; three children, Tim Grove, Tracy Pettit (Scott), and Isaac Bustamante; one grandson, Edwin Pettit; and a sister, Lisa Ingram.
A graveside service will be held in Pine Crest Cemetery on Dauphin Island Parkway at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2020.
