Gerald G. Badeaux, 80, passed away Oct. 3, 2015 due to complications of Parkinson disease. A funeral service will be held on Friday October 9, 2015 at 11AM from the Chapel of Pine Crest Funeral Home, preceded by visitation from 10 to 11AM.
Gerald was born Oct. 20, 1934 in Breaux Bridge, LA to Edvard and Editha Badeaux. He worked for Halliburton Services all of his adult life until he retired as a Field Supervisor in Mobile, AL.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Phyllis Jean Hull Badeaux, and son-in-law, Glenn Smith.
Gerald is survived by his current wife, Jessie Hamby Badeaux; sons, Charles Gerald Badeaux and Richard James Badeaux; daughters, Linda Ann (Paul) Niggemann, Ardyth Janine (John) Wright, and Mara Lee Smith; grandchildren, Charlene Badeaux, Robert Niggemann, Jeremy Smith, Jeanne Badeaux, Joshua Smith, Jessica Smith, and John “Trey” Wright; nine great-grandchildren; and brother, Sandy Wayne “Butch” Badeaux.
