Gerald Wilson Frederick, Sr.

Gerald Wilson Frederick, Sr. – an 84 year-old former resident of Mobile, Alabama and a longtime resident of Orange Beach passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026. He retired from Sears after 35 years as a service department technician. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and snow skiing. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Frederick was preceded in death by his parents, Vosso Wilson Frederick and Sara Jean Young Frederick; brother, Jimmy Frederick; and his beloved wife, Dana “Pug” Frederick. Mr. Frederick is survived by his children, Kim Whitfield (Tom) and Bill Frederick; grandchildren, Seth Whitfield (Anna), Olivia Whitfield, Lizz Naumann (Chris), Allie Kirkland, and Anthony Frederick; great-grandchildren, Walker, Wyatt, Everett, Arch, Mary Jane, and Lyra; niece, Gena Steele (Wesley); other relatives and friends.
