A native of Pensacola, FL and a long time resident of Mobile, AL passed away on July 25th 2016 after a brief illness. He was a devoted husband of 60 years. There are countless loving memories of our father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a member of Spring Hill Baptist church, a 60 year member of plumbers and pipe fitters Local Union 119, an avid reader and a Crimson Tide fan. His positive outlook on life was contagious to everyone he met. He is preceded in death by his son Gerald Alton Peake, Jr (Jerry). He is survived by his wife Jean Bentley Peake; his brothers; Bruce Peake, Dwight Peake and sister; Janet Flener, children; Richard Peake, Randall Peake and Cathy Peake LeGrone, 11 grand children, and 2 great grandchildren with one due in October. Funeral Service will be Thursday July 28th 2016 at 2:00 PM at Pine Crest Funeral Home, with visitation at 1:00 PM. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
