Glennard Aubrey Roberts "Glen", 89 of Chickasaw, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016. Glen was born November 23, 1926 in Clarke County, MS, to William H. Roberts and Jessie Fleming Roberts. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and gardener. Glen was known as "Joe Fix-It", for his ability to fix anything. He is very loved and will be greatly missed.
Glen was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Frances Owens Roberts; and his parents. He is survived by his two sons, David L. Roberts, and Douglas (Cindy) Roberts; his daughter, Emily (Greg) Winn; two granddaughters, Melissa Everette and Megan Winn; three grandsons. Justin and Jacob Roberts, and Michael Winn; eleven great-grandchildren; one sister. Joyce (
John) Marini; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mr. Roberts will begin at noon on Monday, October 24, 2016 with the Funeral Service to follow at 1p.m.. both at Pine Crest Funeral home in Mobile, Al. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked donations be made to Redemption Church in Saraland, AL.
