She was a long-time member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church, where she was active in the choir and Sunday School.
Gloria was preceded in death by her mother, Minnie Hosford Hendrix, brother, Billy Gordon Alexander and two sisters, Betty Alexander Gates and Carole Alexander Miller.
She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Hudson Watts, two sons, David James Hudson Jr and John Alexander Hudson: her grandchildren, Emily A. Watts, Ashlynn A. Watts, Brenton J. Watts and Erin J. Hudson; numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will take place Thursday, January 30, 2025 with visitation at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street from 12:00 pm -1:00 pm; graveside services at Serenity Gardens at 1:30 pm.
