Grace Marie Cohen passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 30, 2025, in Mobile, Alabama. She was 88 years old. Grace was born to William E. and Ella Inez Hudson on April 9, 1937, in Mobile, Alabama. She was married to Harvey J. Cohen on September 15, 1966, and remained so for 56 years until his passing on January 15, 2022.
Grace was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and six siblings: Barbara Richards, Geraldine Frazier, William F. Hudson, Anna Faye Logan, Shirley Watters, and Charlette Desuyo.
She is survived by her children Patricia Ford of Irvington, AL, Mark (Tony) Davis of Colorado, Denise Davis of Mobile, Mellita Oswalt (Clifford) of Mobile, Kimberly Davis of Mobile, and Joseph Cohen (Teresa) of Mobile; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, and other cherished family and friends.
Visitation for Grace will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2025, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, with a chapel service immediately following. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
