Grace Wright Spencer

Grace Wright Spencer - a resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2013. Mrs. Spencer is preceded in death by her first husband, John V. Wright, daughter, Gloria Wright Weldon and granddaughter, Stacy Weldon Carter. She is survived by her husband, Orville Spencer, Jr.; children; Shirley Wright Smith (T.K.), Lamar Wright (Leigh), step-daughters; Vicki Tindle and Valerie Sullivan and step-son, Robert Spencer. She is also survived by her sisters; Frances Winans, Doris Brantley, Jane Dunn, thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Mrs. Spencer was retired after 21 years as an agent with Alfa Insurance Company, and was a member of Azalea Heights Christian Church. Visitation will be Monday, September 2, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home Dauphin Street. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. from the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery, Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, Alabama.
