Gregory David Carter

Gregory David Carter – a 62 year-old native and resident of Mobile passed away Monday, October 1, 2012. Mr. Carter retired from GAF after 34 years of service. He was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4888. Mr. Carter is survived by his wife of 42years, Barbara “Bobbie” Carter; daughters, Terresa Smith (David), Annette Carter, and Karen Carter; mother, Geneva Phillips; grandchildren, Gaven Smith, Colby Atkins, and Logan Atkins; five step-sisters; many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, October 4, 2012, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 3, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
