Guy "Monty" Montieth Wilson Jr., age 73, of Foley, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019. Monty was born October 25, 1945 in Mobile, Alabama to Gladys J. Wilson and Guy M. Wilson. He attended UMS, Barton Academy, and a graduate of Murphy High School class of 1963. Monty then served in the Marine corps Special Forces Recon. He started a career in deep water well drilling, owning his own business, Circle W Drilling in Largo, Florida, over forty years.
Monty is survived by his brother, Dewey E. (Karen) Wilson; nieces, Farrah B. Olsen and Gia X. Azhari; nephew, Lance Devin Wilson; eight great-nieces and great-nephews; and many cousins in the Mobile area.
Monty was preceded in death by his parents, Guy M. Wilson, Sr. and Gladys J. Wilson.
A private graveside will be held at Pine Crest Cemetery.
