Halstyn Johnbryan Baggett, 19, of Saraland, Alabama, went home to be with the Lord on August 6th, 2026. Our beloved son was taken from us far too soon. At only 19 years old, Halstyn had an entire lifetime ahead of him, while we may not understand why God called him home so early, we are thankful for every moment, every laugh, every memory, and every day we were blessed to call him our son, brother, grandson, boyfriend, nephew, cousin, and friend.
Halstyn was an extremely loving and sweet boy. He was known for his kind and compassionate heart, he was so respectful and thoughtful, he was always willing to jump in and help with anything, and he loved everyone so boldly. He loved fishing, riding in his truck, being with all his friends, and video games. He enjoyed his time spent working in the electrical field, while pursuing his journeymen’s license. Most importantly Halstyn loved God, his family, and his girlfriend and he enjoyed every second he got to spend with them.
He was preceded in passing by his sister, Victoria Faith; grandparents, Guy and Celia Baggett; and uncle, John Brockmiller. He leaves behind his mom and dad, Ruthann and Bryan; sisters, Bryanne (Andrew) and Caryngten (Evan); girlfriend, Kammy; grandparents, extended family, and countless friends who will carry his memory in their hearts. He will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
While our hearts are shattered, we hold on to the promise that death is not the end for those who belong to Christ. We find comfort knowing that Halstyn is now in the arms of his Savior, and we look forward to the day we will see him again.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4
Nineteen years was not nearly long enough. But those 19 years were filled with a lifetime of love, memories, and moments we will cherish forever.
Until we meet again, son/bubba. We love you. We miss you. We will carry you with us for the rest of our lives, and we promise we will keep on castin’.
Funeral services will be held at Fountain of Life church on August 13th, 2026, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 12 p.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Andrew Landrum, Evan Buckhalter, Stetson Brockmiller, Elliott Dalee, Charles Lewis, Abram Abston, Huntley Kirksey, Cole Huff, and Colby White.
If you knew Halstyn, you know how much he loved his hats. If you have a hat, his family would love for you to wear it in honor of Halstyn. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com.
