Mrs. Hazel Cobb Hudson, age 83, a native of Jay, Florida and a resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2013. Mrs. Hudson was a Real Estate Broker since 1966 and worked in Customer Service at Belk for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaiah C. Cobb and Mary Belle Cobb; sister, Bobbie Cobb Davis. She is survived by two children, her daughter, Gail Hudson and her son, Robert Hudson; two honorary children, Cindy Bolen and Darryl Lucas; three “grand-dogs”, Jasmin, Elvis and JD; sister in law, Luverne Freeman; brother in law, Billie (Dottie) Hudson; special friends, Marie Smith and Rosie Steiner; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Special thanks to Chris and Charmaine for their kindness, compassion and always making her smile. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at New Horizions Credit Union – Hazel C. Hudson Memorial Fund. Graveside services and interment will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 2:00 PM in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Thursday 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM at the funeral home.
