Helen Hayes Buchanan, wife of William G. Buchanan who passed on February 2, 2015, went to be with the two loves of her life, Bill and Jesus! Our mother was a prayer warrior! Her children are certain that they are alive only because of their mother’s prayers. It’s not just her children who were blessed by her prayers, our mother was a member of a group of women who were dedicated to interceding for others. The results of those prayers are too numerous to name here but you can be certain they were miraculous gifts from God! Her generosity of spirit also was manifested through her beautiful soprano voice which she shared with her church, and Jubilee Voices. Mother, like her husband, loved giving from the blessings given to them by God. Her life revolved around her love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus, her husband, Bill, her children and her friends! Her love affair with our father has been and continues to be an inspiration to her children! She will be dearly missed but we shall see her again!
Mom is survived by her four children, their spouses and eight grandchildren., as well as, six great-grandchildren!
