Henry Alexander

Henry Alexander a native of Mobile, Al and a resident of Irvington, Al died on Saturday April 25, 2015 at a local hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents Alice Britt Alexander and Francis Edwin Alexander Sr., one brother Francis Edwin Alexander Jr., two sisters Mary Lannie and Lucille Burns. Mr. Alexander is survived by his wife of 57 years Annie Mae Alexander, one sister Esther Brown, two daughters Rhonda (Allen) Mayfield, and Kelly (Roger) Milne, three sons Greg Alexander, Darwin Alexander, and Glenn Alexander, two granddaughters Felicia Alexander, and Stefanie Alexander, one great granddaughter Lindsay Mayfield. The pallbearers will be his eight grandsons Ben (Kara) Mayfield, Alexander Mayfield, Dean Mayfield, James Milne, Michael Milne, Ryan Milne, Britt Alexander, and Branden Alexander. He is survived by many special nieces, nephews, and five special friends Glenn “Pecky” Dixon, Otis Collier, Neil Cain, Winston Clark and Maurice Ryan. Funeral Services will be held from the Coden United Methodist Church on Wednesday April 29, 2015 at 12 Noon. The family will receive friends at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Tuesday April 28, 2015 from 5 until 8PM and on Wednesday April 29, 2015 from 10 until 12 at Coden United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Oddfellows Cemetery.
