Henry Moseley Dismukes Jr. passed on September 7, 2026, at the age of 80, in Mobile, Alabama.He was born January 25, 1946, in New Orleans, LA and had been a resident of Mobile since 1951. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Henry Moseley Dismukes and Lois Risen Dismukes.
Mr. Dismukes was a graduate of Murphy High School and the University of Southern Mississippi where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration.
He was a real estate broker, a retired designated appraiser of the Appraisal Institute, and was a former member of the Mobile County Board of Realtors. Mr. Dismukes also served as president of the Local Chapter of Real Estate Appraisers in 1988.
An avid golfer, Mr. Dismukes was a two time Country Club of Mobile Senior Champion. He also enjoyed dove hunting. Mr. Dismukes served in the U.S. Army Reserves for six years. He was a member of several mystic societies, the Mardi Gras Court of 1968, and the Country Club of Mobile.
