

Mr. Ghioto attended the University of Alabama on a golf scholarship before embarking on a lifelong career as a golf pro. He won the National Peewee Golf Tournament at age 10 and the Future Master's Golf Tournament at age 15. In 1975, he won the Alabama State PGA Championship. Mr. Ghioto was a past Vice President of the Gulf Coast Chapter of the Dixie Section of the PGA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry T. Ghioto, Sr. and Bridget Ann Wright Ghioto. Mr. Ghioto is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marion Ghioto; children, Kathleen Ghioto, Teddy Ghioto, and Brandy Elliott (Marty); grandchildren, Gina Ghioto (Nick Stokes) and Anthony Ghioto; great-granddaughter, Hayden Marie Stokes; sister, Ann Hartley (Jim); nephew, John Hartley; other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held in Mobile Memorial Gardens on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
