Homer William Blaisdell

Homer William Blaisdell - an 85 year-old native of Subury Pennsylvani and longtime resident of Mobile passed away Monday , February, 11, 2013. He retired from the food retail industry as a buyer/manager after many years of service for Delchamp's and Greer's Food Stores. He was a World War II veteran of the Unites States Navy. Mr. Blaisdell was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Nellie Frances Battiste Blaisdell, and son Larry David Blaisdell. He is survived by two daughters, Susan B. Johnson (Gregory) and Kelly B. Vansandt (Perry); daughter-in-law, Diana Blaisdell; grandchildren, Matthew William Johnson (Misti), Nathan Warren Johnson (Jessica), Davis Andrew Vansandt, Gavin Andrew Vansandt, Katrina Blaisdell, Angel-Lee Blaisdell, and Cindy Blaisdell; great-grandchildren, Grady C. Johnson, Maddison Rain Johnson, Hampton Kelly Johnson, and Levi Chapman Johnson; brothers, Robert M. Blaisdell, Raymond Blaisdell, and Larry David Blaisdell (Patsy); other relatives and friends.
