Horace “Piggy” Pullen- a native of Whistler, Al and a longtime resident of Mobile passed away Friday, October 3, 2014. He retired from Scott Paper Company after 29 years of employment. He was a member of Kushla-Bethany Baptist Church. He loved Alabama Football and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Horace is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Joy Pullen, his three children; Gregory (Donna) Pullen, Gary (Angie) Pullen, Michelle (Scott) McLin, sister, Juanita Hill, brother, Robert C. (Betty) Pullen, sister-in-law, Betty Pullen, 8 grandchildren; Jonathon, Seth, Kaylee, Christi, Gregory, Victoria, Debbie, Andrew, 3 great-grandchildren; Weston, Aniston and Fergus, along with numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Visitation will be held from 5 – 8 p.m. Monday, October 6, 2014, at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2014 from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street with Rev. Spence Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Kushla-Bethany Baptist Church Building Fund.
