
Howard Seaborn Brown died peacefully at his home in the early morning hours of Thursday, December 3, 2015. As a native of Mobile, AL, he devoted his life to being a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, mentor, and friend.
Howard had a passion for the outdoors as well as his occupation as a Master Electrician, working for Gulf Electric Co. for over 40 years.
He was a member of the Mobile Masonic Loop Lodge # 895, the Alba Club and South Brookley United Methodist Church.
Howard is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy “Dot” Parker Brown, sister, Patsy A. (George) Fisher, daughters Carmen “Candy” Brown, Suzanne “Suzie” (Brent) Bryars, Kim Cook (John Cooper), and his grandchildren Jody Harless and Mary Kristian Cook (Judson Perkins) as well many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his father, Fredrick J. Brown, and his mother, Mary B. Brown.
A chapel service followed by a graveside ceremony will take place on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 11 AM at the Pinecrest Cemetery on Dauphin Island Parkway.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that a donation be made in Howard’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
Howard created wonderful memories for so many during his 79 years.
