
He was a founding member of St. Mary's By The Sea Episcopal Church and served as Senior Warden, Junior Warden, Lay Reader, Eucharistic Minister, Cate Chist, Sunday School Teacher, and former choir member. Mr. Parker also served in the U. S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Hazel June Gimon Parker; and his brother, John Louis Parker.
Survivors include four daughters, June Margaret (B. Olen) Hammack, Deborah Gimon (James C.) Angle, both of Cincinnati, OH, Ann Marie (Robin) Beglarian of Salt Lake City, UT, and Beth Louise Parker of Farmington, UT; brother, Frank Leon (Diana) Parker of Fairhope, AL; three grandchildren, Megan Gimon (Will) Speakes, Dana Beth Angle, both of Cincinnati, OH and Ariann Parker Beglarian of Salt Lake City, UT; two great-grandchildren, Keagen Alexander Speakes and Josephine Margaret Speakes; sister-in-law, Jean Deer Parker; family friend, Kim Wendy Tauss of Salt Lake City, UT; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be held from St. Mary's By The Sea Episcopal Church on Friday, December 9, 2011, at 1:30 p.m. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until service time at the church. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
