Ida Virginia Howell, a native of Bayou la Batre, Alabama, former resident of Long Beach, Mississippi and a resident of Fairhope, died on Wednesday, January 23, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorlan Rudolph Howell.
She is survived by four children, Michael Darwin (Anne) Howell, Brett Alan Howell, Cynthia Dianne (Bo) Stanford and Elissa Darlene (Bruce) Smith; one sister, Mildred E. Sumerlin and one brother, Robert Amie (Lee) Bosarge; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 12 noon. Visitation will start at 11 AM. Burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens
