Ida Louve Blackmon Sessions, 86 of Chunchula, Alabama passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015. She retired from Southern Bell and later from Walmart with 20 years, in Saraland. Ida enjoyed traveling with friends and spending time with her baby dog, Penny. She is preceded in death by her parents: George Wesley Blackmon and Ida Blackmon; her husband of over 20 years, Kenneth Lee Sessions; her siblings: Eunice Pettis, Leola McDaniel and Georgia Hinson. She is survived by her daughter, Jean Keevan; her grandchildren: Mal Walker, Ken (Terri Wells) Walter, John Paul Reynolds, Greg (Tabitha) Keevan, Jeffrey Keevan and her great grandchildren: Trae Walker, Ross Walker, Gillen Walker (fiancé-Emily Claire Walker) and Ellis Walker. Services for Ida are scheduled for Friday, May 1, 2015 at Pine Crest Funeral Home with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and a graveside service immediately following in Pine Crest Cemetery with Brother David Scarborough performing the service.
