Irene G. Moore, 98, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Covenant Inpatient Hospice Center at Providence Hospital in Mobile, Alabama. Irene was born in Coden, Alabama on April 22, 1921.

She is preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Edna Gray, and her husband, Walter Theo Moore.

Irene is survived by two daughters, Iris M. Parker and Irene M. Edwards; brother, Larry (Mazzie) Gray; four grandsons, Andrew Edwards, Donnie Edwards, John (Alyssa) Edwards of Seattle, WA., and Charles (Leanne) Rader of Birmingham, AL.; three great-grandsons, Walter, Harry, and James Edwards.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from Holy Family Catholic Church in Mobile at 10:00 A.M. The family will be accepting friends at the church one hour prior to service time. Interment will immediately follow services at Catholic Cemetery.
