Rest peacefully, dear Maria. We will miss your no-nonsense approach to life and its many ups and downs. You showed grace and perseverance throughout it all, and the happiness you brought our father cannot be measured. We are proud to be your family, and you will always be in our hearts and thoughts and prayers. With much love from us all.

Maria and Alfred are now reunited in the heavens with God.  Met this couple years ago at the YMCA pool.  Both very interesting people with a history to tell.  Once spent time with them in their home over a Christmas Eve dinner with family.  Wonderful people and I always looked forward to chatting with them.  They complimented each other perfectly.  She made me Matzo Ball Soup a few times, delicious.  She had a long life with many adventures and suffered some along the way, that's life.  All is at peace now, rest sweet Maria.
