
Jack William Click – an 86 year-old native of Hemphill, TX and resident of Mobile passed away at his home on Friday, October 8, 2010. He always said he was “born with white line fever in his blood.” He retired from International Paper as chief electrician after 48 years of service. Mr. Click was a World War II veteran of the United States Marine Corps, where he served in the Pacific Theater of Operations and was awarded a Purple Heart. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Thomas Click and Mary Alice Huffman Click, and son, Jack William Click, Jr. Mr. Click is survived by five children, Rhonda Carol Christie (John), James Thomas Click II, Alice Celeste Barger, Barbara Michele Oliver (Richard), and Bobby Wayne Pilot (Misty); brother, Bob Click (Marzee); nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Monday, October 11, 2010, at 7 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until the service hour. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans (D.A.V.).
