Mr. Jack Blake Hays – a native of Ben Franklin, TX and a longtime resident of Mobile, AL died Saturday, January 22, 2011 in a local hospital. Mr. Hays was a U. S. Army veteran and served in the Merchant Marines. He was employed by Radio Holland and R.C.A. Marine Division. He was a member of the Propeller Club and a mystic society. Mr. Hays was preceded in death by his parents, Morris Campbell Hays and Nora Elizabeth Blake Hays. He is survived by his wife, Helen Hays; one daughter, Jackie (Randy) Moon; one grandson, Jason Moon; one sister, Marian Crump; two nieces and one nephew. The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street. Graveside services and interment will be held at 10 A.M. on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 in Magnolia Cemetery.
