Jacqueline Marie Ratliff Miller

Jacqueline Marie Ratliff Miller a native of Mobile, AL, passed away at her residence on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at the age of 86. Mrs. Miller was a graduate of Murphy High School, Class of 1946. She was a longtime member of Woodmont Baptist Church, Cottage Hill Baptist Church and currently a member of Dauphin Way Baptist Church. Mrs. Miller was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be sorely missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sturgill Freeland Ratliff, Sr. and Mamie Lou Moncrieffe Ratliff, her husband, Lawrence Clifford Miller, Sr., her siblings, Sturgill Freeland Ratliff, Jr., Peggy Ratliff McCuiston and Kay Ratliff Kennedy, and son-in-law, Douglas V. Garner, Sr. Mrs. Miller is survived by her children, Cynthia Miller Garner, Lawrence Clifford Miller, Jr. (Pam), Jeffery Scott Miller, five grandchildren, Nicole Garner Farrell (Peter) of Huntsville, AL, Allison Garner Huddle (Parker) of Mobile, AL, Douglas Van Garner, Jr. (Aimee) of Madison, MS, Benjamin Joshua Miller and Jay Berkley Miller both of Mobile, AL, eight great-grandchildren, Garner and Hill Farrell, Kate, William and Alice Huddle, Lilly and Charlotte Garner and Madelyn Miller. The family would like to express their gratitude to Springhill Hospice for their dedicated, caring service. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin St., on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Women’s Resource Center or the charity of your choice.
