Fred is survived by his wife, Sarah Allman; two sons, Shannon Allman and Todd Allman (Denise); and a foster son, Stephen Delahunty (Lisa).
Fred will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Mary Kathryn Allman Scott (Michael), Michael Allman, Collier Allman, Sara Allman, Anna Delahunty McGehee (Jonathan), and Katie Delahunty Haygood (Harper); brother, Richard Gorbott; and many nieces and nephews.
Fred retired from the MFRD with 33 years of service and was in the swimming pool business for 25+ years. Fred was also known by many as “Dubs” and “Papa”.
Fred lived a life that speaks for itself and would want to be remembered by his devotion to his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. at his residence.
