James Cleveland Christian

James Cleveland Christian, A native and longtime resident of Mobile, AL died in Pelham, AL on Thursday June 21, 2012. Mr. Christian was a Past Master of SB Adams lodge #884, F&AM, as well as a member of the Scottish Rite. He was also very involved in Abba Shrine where he served on the board for the Shreveport Hospital for Children for many years as well as worked in the hospital office at the Shrine Center. In 1998, he was voted Shriner of the Year and recently earned his 50 year Masonic Pin. Mr. Christian was preceded in death by his wife Juanita Christian. He is survived by his daughter, Charlie Lavett and son in law, Carl Shannon Lavett.; three grandchildren, Alexis Grace Lavett, Emily Claire Lavett and Christian Price Lavett all of Pelham, AL one brother, Carl Christian and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens on Wednesday June 27, 2012 at 10 AM. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 until 8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens
